§ 01What We BelieveFig. 1 — First principles

Software should solve business problems — not create new ones. Too many projects fail because the wrong problem was solved first.

We started Dayne-Core to invert the usual order. Most firms lead with technology and hope it fits the business. We lead with the business, then build the technology it actually needs.

That difference sounds small. In practice it’s the gap between software that gets quietly abandoned and software that becomes the backbone of how a company runs.

§ 02Our StoryFig. 2 — How we got here
The short version

Built from a frustration we kept seeing.

Founded 2020 · growing since

Across Port Harcourt and beyond, the same story repeated: capable businesses paying good money for software that looked impressive in a demo and fell apart the moment real operations hit it.

The pattern was always the same. Someone sold a solution before anyone understood the problem. Freelancers vanished mid-project. Agencies delivered features nobody asked for and disappeared when the invoices stopped. The businesses were left with expensive systems they couldn’t trust — and a deepening skepticism that software could help them at all.

Dayne-Core was founded in 2020 to be the answer to that skepticism. We made one commitment the rest of the model flows from: understand the business before proposing the build. Earn the right to write code by first earning a real grasp of how the company makes money, where it’s stuck, and what growth actually requires.

That commitment shaped everything — how we scope, how we communicate, how we measure ourselves. We don’t count success in projects shipped. We count it in clients who grew, and who stayed. Years in, that’s still the only scoreboard that matters to us.

§ 03How We OperateFig. 3 — Four commitments

The principles we don’t bend.

Not slogans — the actual rules that decide how we scope, build, and stay accountable.

01

Understand first

We learn how your business really works before proposing anything. The diligence is the product.

02

Build once

Solve the right problem properly the first time, so you’re not paying twice to fix a rushed guess.

03

Stay accountable

We don’t vanish at launch. We stay on the hook for the system long after it ships.

04

Measure growth

Success is your business moving forward — not features shipped or hours billed.

A note from the founder
Technology is the easy part. Understanding a business well enough to know what to build — that’s the work.

I kept watching good businesses get burned by people who never asked how they actually made money. Dayne-Core is my answer to that — a company that earns the right to build by understanding first. Everything we do comes back to that one idea.
